Inspired by Roald Amundsen's call to action - 'Let's Go Skiing Right Now!' - this turtle neck sweater captures the pure enthusiasm for life on the slopes. Crafted from 100% Norwegian wool harvested from free-range sheep in the rugged Hallingdal Mountains, it delivers unmatched warmth and Nordic authenticity.
Wool is an essential part of our heritage. We take great pride in using Norwegian wool, renowned for its durability and ruggedness. The wool is harvested from free-ranging sheep living the high-life up in the Norwegian mountains of Hallingdal from June to September. After the harvest, it is thoughtfully spun and knitted in Italy. The tough fibers from the Norwegian sheep are developed to withstand the rugged climate - the same same climate we more thoroughly enjoy under a wool layer. Since we have a broad range of wool sweaters, hoodies, and so on, we use 3 different types of wool; 100% Norwegian wool, recycled wool and merino wool. To make the most of your outdoor activities, it’s important to pick the right clothing for the activity and conditions. A lightweight and breathable merino wool sweater helps to regulate your body temperature without getting cold, whereas when you’re on a hike or after your skiing sessions, a thicker raw wool sweater can offer you great comfort and a warm layer underneath a jacket on colder days.
